Tax Appeal Form A-1 - for Atlantic County, Deadline to file is April 1

Below is a link to the Tax Appeal Form A-1.  This is the form you will need to complete and file to appeal your taxes.  Please follow the instruction on the bottom of the form.  Information you need to know before you file the appeal: 

-Tax Appeal must be received by the county board of taxation on or before April, 1 to the tax year, or 45 days from the bulk mailing of Notification of Assessment is completed.

-Not more than five comparable sales shal be submitted to the assessor, clerk and county board of taxation, no later than seven calendar days prior to the hearing, if it is not included with the petition of appeal. 

-Filing fees must accompany original petiion of appeal, see instructions for details.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PRINT OFF THE PETITION OF APPEAL FORM ON LEGAL SIZE PAPER 8.5 x 14.  Below is a link to the form.
